As a mother, I have a deep interest in the well-being of families particularly in emerging economies. Where challenges such as acute malnutrition continue to threaten many livelihoods, a number of local projects have been set up to provide support.

In Mali, West Africa, women are paid a fair income in line with the WFTO guidelines, for the development and purchase of their crafts.
This income enables them to make an independent and respectable living, buy food for their children and a chance for a better life.
